Transport by road

Although the roads in Costa Rica can be touch, you still can drive very safely through this country. So, the fly drive holidays are a very good option if you want to visit Samara.

We are Pieter Monsma & Mireille Verhoef, your friendly Dutch hosts to help you find your way when you fly to the Tranquillo and non-touristically Samara Beach village at the Pacific Ocean. From the very first time we visited Samara in Costa Rica we fell in love. We like to share our passion for Samara with you.

Here we are standing in the middle of the runway of Pieter’s airpark Samara, what is offered to you as landing spot right now. Airport Samara is part of this fly in community and the runway is in the middle of it. Just like Pieter is, and he loves to share this with people who can appreciate it’s beauty.

Mireille has a long background in tourism and hospitality. She has travelled all over the whole world and seen the most beautiful places. Despite of that she was totally overwhelmed by this authentic and special beach.
